Birthday Puja in Chhindwara, India

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Nirvana Court. This site (which used to be eugena.com.hk) was created in 2003 in the aim to share with you my life in Sahaja Yoga, things that I've learnt in it, things that I feel are interesting, important or meaningful. I hope you enjoy your visit here and feel free to leave me a comment in my guestbook. Happy browsing!

Where is Nirvana Court?

Many years ago, I lived on a street named "Nirvana Court". I didn't quite understand the meaning of "nirvana" at the time, except that it was the name of a very famous band (as I had been told). Funny enough, our street sign would constantly go missing, presumably stolen by some die-hard Nirvana fans, or perhaps less likely, by someone who really really wished to attain the state of nirvana. As a result, those who seeked Nirvana Court would usually have to go through some dramas before they finally found it (since GPS was still unheard of back then). Eventually the city council decided to spray paint the street name directly onto the road, instead of constantly replacing the missing sign. And as such, Nirvana Court became the street without a sign.

In real life, I was also seeking my nirvana. (A simple definition of "nirvana" is "an ideal condition of complete bliss, joy and peace". or "the ability to consciously pause activities of the mind" according to some dictionaries.) Just as searching for a street without a sign, I was lost for a while, until one day, I found Sahaja Yoga. Through a simple meditation, I received my self-realisation, and caught a glimpse (even though just a brief one) into the nirvana state. Through kundalini awakening, I was able to achieve a state known as "thoughtless awareness", in which one can enjoy complete inner peace, mental silence and emotional balance. Such a state cannot be described in words but has to be experienced to be truly understood and appreciated. I hope you'll come to Sahaja Yoga to experience your nirvana too!

About Sahaja Yoga

Sahaja Yoga was founded by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in India in 1970, and has since spread all over the world. It is a unique method of meditation based on an experience called Self-Realisation (Kundalini awakening) that can occur within each human being. Meditation classes are being conducted all over the world by experienced practitioners of Sahaja Yoga, and are entirely FREE OF CHARGE, as one cannot pay for the experience of DIVINE LOVE.
